Chrome metal Pastoe KM05 wire stool, designed in 1958 by Cees Braakman and Adriaan Dekker for Pastoe. This Pastoe KM05 wire stool is an original production from the 1960s.
The stool features an open and light construction with a chrome-plated steel frame and a round seat consisting of concentrically placed steel wires. The minimalist design reflects the functional and transparent aesthetic for which Pastoe was known in the late 1950s. Source: Pastoe – 100 years of innovation in design, nai010 publishers, p. 211. Dimensions: w x d x h = 46 x 46 x 55 cm, seat height 45 cm.
The stool is still in good vintage condition. The frame shows light signs of use and a few small rust spots. All joints are sturdy and intact.
