Lebber vintage® - Antique cigar press/mould. Otto Holzapfel.

In the 1800's Germany, Belgium, Holland, and a few other countries in Europe had a thriving cigar business. Hand carved wooden molds like this were used to press the moist wrapper leaves around the tobacco to form the cigars. They fit together to form the mold to allow cigars to dry in shape.

This cigar press is in perfect condition! The imprint on the front says "L. Bezemer and sons".

Antique and vintage items are used goods; they always show signs of use and age. I take photos from all sides so that this is clearly visible.
