The company Arcopal France, now called Arc, is known worldwide for its glass and tableware brands such as Luminarc, Arcoroc and Cristal d'Arques...
The first brand of Arcopal France was Luminarc, founded in 1948. Luminarc offers tableware and glassware in clear or decorated glass for everyday use. In 1958, they launched the Arcoroc and Arcopal, which offer shock-resistant tempered glass collections.
Arcopal offers tableware in opal glass (fluorosilicate) with vintage design. Arcoroc offers glassware and tableware for intensive use to bars, hotels, restaurants and communities. In 1968, the Cristal d'Arques brand was created. From 1960, the company developed the automated production of crystal glass. This innovation, a first in France, has made crystal accessible to everyone!


All Arcopal glassware is renowned for its resistance to breakage and shattering, enhanced by a specific heat treatment called tempering, making it up to three times more impact resistant than other materials.

The cups and saucers are marked Arcopal France on the bottom.
