MID CENTURY DESIGN IKEA SIDE TABLE - LÖVBACKEN - ARRIVING COLLECTOR'S ITEM

This Lövbacken side table is a great 50s design side table/coffee table.
It is IKEA's updated version of the famous mid-century Lövet table.

Originally launched in 1953, the Lövet table became Ikea's first flat-packed product, designed by one of Sweden's most successful designers, Gillis Lundgren, and has proven to be a very important design.

If you manage to find the original, you will have a side table worth over €1000.
Experts at Swedish auction house Barnebys have already declared this updated version of the table a future classic.

This model is made of wood and a veneer top with a characteristic pattern that is very different from the usual top pattern you see on the Lövbacken side table.
He also has three slender detachable legs and brass-colored socks.

This table was made in 1999, we have two of these tables in stock.
The other has the more common leaf pattern, but were both made in the same year.
Could it be a coincidence?
Or this limited edition side table was only produced in that year.
