Beautiful vintage globe de Räth by the cartographers prof. dr. Arthus Krause, W. Steinbrück, H. Reetz and dr. G. Papay. A French-language globe on a scale of 1:38,600,000, made of quality paper on cardboard with a polished aluminum meridian on a round black bakelite base. Made in East Germany (GDR) by VEB Hermann Haack Gotha, by publisher Paul Räth Nachf. KG Leipzig. In very good condition with minor traces of wear to the globe and the wood and other details consistent with age as part of the historical content and decorative character. Please refer to the pictures as an integral part of the description.
