Vintage Arabia Karelia coffee or tea cup and saucer. Finnish design.
The Karelia line was designed for Arabia Finland by Anja Jaatinen-Winquist. Arabia Karelia has been in production from 1971 to 1975. Each piece has been hand painted in black, brown, rust and yellow onto greyish white stoneware. Arabia Karelia is a perfect example of Scandinavian design and will be appreciated by aficionados of the mid century modern interior and 70s retro interiors alike. It is also dishwasher safe.
